The Just Us Movement’s Western New England Region Dignity Grows Chapter is addressing period poverty by raising funds to assemble and distribute Dignity Grows hygiene kits—each containing a month’s supply of essential menstrual and personal care products for those in need. Priced at just $38 per kit, these totes include items like menstrual pads, toothpaste, soap, deodorant, shampoo, and more. Distributed discreetly through trusted community partners, schools, shelters, and outreach programs such as Nourish the Neighborhood, each donation helps restore dignity, confidence, and comfort to individuals facing difficult choices between basic hygiene and other necessities.
The Nourish the Neighborhood Community Meal Drive, hosted by the Just Us Movement, is an initiative dedicated to addressing food insecurity by providing nutritious meals to individuals and families in need. Through the support of volunteers and community partners, we prepare and distribute meals directly to local neighborhoods, ensuring that everyone has access to healthy food and a sense of belonging. This event is an opportunity for volunteers to make a tangible difference and help foster stronger, more resilient communities.
