• Our virtual programs connected community members with accessible knowledge and actionable resources. 

• Topics included:

  • Bridging the Gap: Access to Justice & Community Empowerment

  • Know Your Rights: Law Enforcement and Immigration Encounters. 

  • Mental Health in the Professional World & more

Back to School Teacher Supply Drive

In partnership with the Hartford Book & Sip Club, we hosted a community supported Back to School Drive to provide two local teachers with classroom supplies for the new academic year. 

• Donated essential materials to support classroom learning

• Strengthened communities ties through collaborative service

Civic Engagement Resources

• In 2025, we developed a Civic Engagement Toolkit to help community members understand local government processes, advocate effectively and strengthen participation in democracy. This resource is available for community members, educators and organizations here. 

• Input toolkits that we designed for Links webinar 

• We also distributed Red Cards, pocket sized rights information cards designed for use during law enforcement and immigration encounters. To date, we’ve distributed X amount of Red Cards across Massachusetts, Connecticut and additional partner communities. Dignity Grows Partnership: 

In 2025, the Just Us Movement became the Western New England Regional Chapter of Dignity Grows, joining a national initiative that provides hygiene and menstrual care products to individuals experiencing period poverty. While we are preparing for our first distribution cycle, this partnership strengthens our commitment to supporting community wellness and expanding access to essential resources in the coming year.
