LEGAL ADVOCACY PROGRAMMING
The Legal Advocacy Program is a key initiative of the Just Us Movement, focused on ensuring populations have access to the legal resources they need. Through this program, we offer free legal clinics, educational webinars, and advocacy for critical reforms in the legal system, particularly in the areas of civil rights and criminal justice. We are committed to addressing the legal challenges that disproportionately affect many communities across the nation. These communities often face systemic barriers to accessing justice, which exacerbates existing inequalities in housing, employment, and criminal justice. Our Legal Advocacy Program is designed to break down these barriers and empower individuals with the tools and support they need to protect their rights.

KNOW YOUR RIGHTS - RED CARD
Protect Yourself. Know Your Rights.
The Just Us Movement is now distributing Know Your Rights Red Cards, created by the Immigrant Legal Resource Center (ILRC), to help individuals understand their constitutional protections, regardless of immigration status.
These wallet-sized cards are designed to be carried and used in real-life encounters with law enforcement or immigration officials. They include simple scripts and legal rights that can be asserted during interactions, and are available in multiple languages.
Who are these cards for?
Anyone in the U.S., immigrant, undocumented, or ally, can request cards to stay informed or distribute them to their communities.
Want red cards for yourself, your family, or your community organization?
Fill out our request form and we’ll send a batch free of charge while supplies last.
These cards DO NOT provide legal advice.
For questions about your individual situation, please contact a trusted immigration attorney or legal services organization.
